Existing WAWFL President Carolyn Hills has been re-elected to the board of the West Australian Women's Football League during the 2020 Annual General Meeting held at the WA Football Commission on November 10.

Serving on the WAWFL board for thirteen years already, and having been President for the past ten, Hills enters a new three year term from 2021 – 2023.

WAWFL Vice President Sally Allomes congratulated Carolyn on her appointment for another term.

“It is fantastic that Carolyn renominated and was successful in her appointment. From our point of view, Carolyn represents the WAWFL and female football in WA professionally, and to a very high standard", Sally said.

“The next 12 months will be critical for the WAWFL as we continue to transition from the WAWFL to WAFLW, and I am confident that Carolyn will continue to work closely with our key stakeholders to ensure the WAWFL and its competitions are looked after going forward”.

The WAWFL would like to take this opportunity to thank our Clubs for their efforts this year, and wish all members a safe and happy Christmas and new year.
